Registration Information

It is quick and easy to register for a MEDICAL MUTUAL risk management program. Please follow the instructions below.

How to Register
For your convenience, you can register in any of three ways:

1. Register online 24/7 using a credit card.
    
2. Register by mail by filling out the registration form included in the seminar brochure sent to all Policyholders. Be sure to include your check with payment when mailing the form to MEDICAL MUTUAL.
    
3. Print out the registration form available on this web site. Complete the form and mail it to MEDICAL MUTUAL with a check for payment. Please note that telephone registrations are NOT accepted. Registration and payment are permitted the day of the seminar at the seminar location. However, this is on a space-available basis.
    

Registration Fee
Physician: The Physician program fee is $50 PER PERSON and includes a light dinner. The price for the same person taking additional seminars is $25 per additional seminar, a savings of 50%!

Medical Office Staff: The Medical Office Staff program fee is $40 PER PERSON.

Refunds: Due to program commitments for facilities, catering and course materials, program fees are non-refundable in the event that you are unable to attend. If a program is cancelled your payment will be refunded.
 

CME Credits
Accreditation Statement: MEDICAL MUTUAL Liability Insurance Society of Maryland is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for Physicians.

Designation Statement: MEDICAL MUTUAL designates this educational activity for a maximum of 2.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Note: CME Credits are given to a Physician for attending Physician risk management programs ONLY, and you must attend the entire session in order to earn your CME credits.
 

Premium Discount
A 5% premium discount will be given on Year 2011 medical professional liability renewal policies to MEDICAL MUTUAL Physician Policyholders who attend any of our 2010 Physician program sessions. We urge you to register early to avoid a last minute rush and to ensure you get the seminar topic, date and location of your choice.

Note: A Physician does not receive a premium discount for attending the "IDC-10 Coding - What's New?" Medical Office Staff risk management program. A premium discount is given to a Physician for attending a Physician risk management program ONLY, and you must attend the entire session in order to earn your premium discount. Only one 5% risk management premium discount can be earned and applied to a renewal policy.

Schedule & Registration
Physicians: Registration and a light dinner begin at 5:30 p.m., with the seminar starting promptly at 6 p.m. and ending at 8 p.m. No one is admitted after 6:30 p.m. If you have special dietary needs (Vegetarian, Kosher, etc.), please note this information on your mail-in registration form. If you are registering online, please call MEDICAL MUTUAL Risk Management Services at 410-785-0050 or toll free at 800-492-0193 to advise us of your needs.

Medical Office Staff: Registration and a light lunch begin at 11:45 a.m. The program begins promptly at noon and ends at 2:00 p.m.
